MEET THE PEOPLE BEHIND COFION

BoaRD OF DIRECTORS

COFION encourages young teams to lead and involve in projects that revolve around multiculturalism, and these youth-led projects have been scheduled in COFION’s 5-year program under the supervision of the Board of Directors.

COFION and Nonnina’s Table have joined in partnership to start a program The Helping Hand to service families in need due to the COVID 19.  Our work takes us to many cities in Ontario. We  assist families with home furnishing, kitchen utensils, infants’ needs, clothes etc.  Without the help of our benefactors we would not be able to help the increasing numbers of families that call for help.
 
Our service is as follows: 200 meals, 40 food boxes,(each week) Easter 100 food baskets, Ramadan 150 food baskets, and Christmas over 500 turkey food baskets.  We reach to gather more than 1500 families.
 
Our families are very grateful that “there are people that think of their needs”
Most of our food boxes are curbside today.
